The ABF Silvergraces Construction-backed Negros Occidental 3X3 Girls’ Team finished 1st runner-up in the recently staged Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas 3X3 finals in Manila.
The Bacolod squad bowed to Regiona 10 Cagayan de Oro, 17-10 to finish No.2 over-all among the 16 national finalists.
“Not bad for these girls to finish second over-all from among the country’s bests,” said coach Gerome Aledron. This is the contingents’ back-to-back national finals appearance.
Suiting up for the Silvergraces-bankrolled team are Charity Gicana, Shalimar Dublar, Kaye Pesquera, and Kiara Isabelle Mejica.
On the other hand, the Adamson University Lady Falcons are in Bacolod City to conduct series of clinics and try-out among the young and promising female basketball players.
The event is spearheaded by former Perlas Pilipinas Women’s Basketball Team captain Ewon Arayi, who is the current Lady Falcons head coach.*
