ON its 3rd year, Salomon is thrilled to host the X-Trail Pilipinas Bacolod Leg on November 27 at the Campuestohan trail in Talisay City.

The event will feature two categories: the 17 kilometers and 12.5 km – where the starting line is at 720 meters and goes down to a low of 520 meter having the highest point at 960 meters.

Salomon Marketing Manager Jessa Runes pointed out that the “X-Trail” is reputed for being a technical trail running race.

“The branding of the event includes a mix of different terrain & river crossings, downhill & uphill treks, forest canopy covers, grassland hikes, and a spectacular view of both Negros & Panay islands,” Runes added.

Meanwhile, Salomon lawyer-athlete Aldean Lim obliged trail fanatics and running enthusiasts to bring hydration pack.

“Although, water stations are strategically located along the course, it’s better to be prepared for the technical challenges along the route,” Lim said.

He also encouraged participants to bring a whistle and a water-resistant mobile phone in case of emergency.

Registration fees costs at Php1,000 for the long course and Php800 for the short course.

Registered participants will get technical shirts, Salomon race bags, medals, 20 percent discount in Salomon store (Bacolod & Iloilo), raffle ticket, full meal & products, and giveaway from sponsors.

All proceeds of the event will be for the continuous tree planting project of the Negros Forest and Ecological Foundation, Inc.

The Salomon X-Trail Pilipinas 2016-Bacolod Leg is brought to you by Negros Mountaineering Club, Inc. and the Primer Group of Companies.

This event is in cooperation with Recreational Outdoor eXchange, Xtend BCAA Formulation, 360 degrees, Chinamart, First Farmers Holdings, For Kids Only Learning Center, Merzci, Kampo Hiyang-hiyang Resort, Solstice Restobar, Government of Talisay, and Negros Provincial Government.
