Alfredo Yulo successfully regained dominance in the Tenpin Masters Challenge (TMC) Season Three championship after claiming the top honors for October over the weekend at East Bowling Center in Lopue’s East Centre.
Top seeded Yulo took advantage of the missed spare of 3rd seed Dr Larnie Vencer in the 8th frame to secure another title, 178-144.
Yulo, who averages 190 pin falls per game in the tournament, was given a chance to bowl in the shootout after three qualified bowlers were not able to play.
In the semifinals, Yulo rolled 189 pin falls overshadowed Engr. Ariel Yelo’s 152 while, Vencer outshone Richel Gumban, 216 – 181 to advance in the final shootout.
On the other hand, 2nd seed Gumban went toe-to-toe against 4th seed Yelo but, prevailed at the end of the match, 172-170.
Completing the TMC top ten bowlers are: Paul Pacis, Raymund Livioco, Tol de Asis, Paco Collantes, Willy Nieva, and Sherwin Jardeleza.
This season’s elite royalty of tenpinners include: OJ Lopue for July and Herman Santos for September.
